We’re Getting Married!

It was June, the Los Angeles Angels were playing a home game and the Golden State Warriors were in the playoffs with the Cavaliers. Cole’s friend Bryan invited Cole to go watch the Angels play at Angel Stadium and meet up with another friend of his. Danielle had been invited to the same Angel game through a group of girls that knew Bryan. When entering the game, Danielle and Cole just seemed to hit it off immediately because they both wanted to watch the NBA championship game instead of baseball. Danielle didn’t even want to be there in the first place because she hates baseball and she was so happy that someone wanted to watch the NBA game with her. After a few hours of getting to know each other, Cole’s phone had died and he wanted Danielle’s phone number. So he took her phone and called his phone to leave a voicemail with her number. Cole asked her on a date that happened to be on Father’s Day which he stood her up on. That same night he messaged her saying he felt stupid for making the date on Father’s Day and that’s why he never called. Danielle was so mad and done with him at this point. Cole still asked if there was any other day that worked and Danielle gave one option (thinking he wouldn’t be available such short notice) and he took it. He took her to sushi and the rest is history .....

It was Danielle’s Birthday and he asked her what she wanted to do. She told him that she wanted to go on a Duffy and drive it up to dinner in Newport. Cole was carrying her present on the way to the Duffy and she made a joke about how her ring is in that box, obviously startling cole but also not knowing or thinking anything of it. It was a joke! Whoops .... The box was a garment box so she truly just thought she was getting these Alo workout leggings she’d been asking for, she still never got those lol They were driving the Duffy around Newport Harbor when all of a sudden cole got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. They got off the Duffy and he surprised her with family and friends at Javier’s.
