Bogotá is at high altitude. Take it easy on your first day, stay hydrated, and don’t be surprised if you feel a little short of breath. Allow your body to adjust.
The weather can change quickly. In July, Bogotá has mild daytime temperatures averaging 15–18 °C, with cooler evenings and nights around 7–10 °C. We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a warm jacket for nighttime.
