Things to do

We’re thrilled to share some of our beloved city spots with you! Since we have guests from out of town, we aim to ensure everyone has a memorable experience in San Antonio.
Pearl Brewery

Pearl Brewery

303 Pearl Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78215

The Pearl District, located just north of downtown, is a vibrant and lively area of town. If you’re in town on Saturday between 9 am and 1 pm, don’t miss the Pearl Farmers Market, where you’ll find many vendors. If you are in this area, consider visiting some of our favorite restaurants at The Pearl: Best Quality Daughter (Asian fusion), Landino (Mediterranean), and Supper (American).

King William Historic District and Southtown Area

King William Historic District and Southtown Area

131 King William St, San Antonio, TX 78204

This is one of our favorite neighborhoods in San Antonio—we enjoy walks with our dogs on weekends here. This area has excellent restaurants, charming houses, and a less crowded section of the Riverwalk. Don’t miss the chance to savor the delicious Brussels sprouts and cocktails at HotJoy!

Hemisfair Park Area & Tower of the Americas

Hemisfair Park Area & Tower of the Americas

434 S Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78205

Hemisfair Park was the location of the 1968 World Fair and contains a few museums. The park is a lovely walk, and you can go to the top of the Tower of Americas for a panoramic view of San Antonio.

McNay Art Museum

McNay Art Museum

6000 North New Braunfels Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78209

This is Dani's favorite museum in the city! Built-in the 1920s by artist and educator Marion Koogler McNay, the Spanish Colonial Revival residence became the site of Texas’s first museum of modern art when it opened in 1954.

San Antonio Botanical Garden

San Antonio Botanical Garden

555 Funston Place, San Antonio, TX 78209

We absolutely love the botanical garden. A fun fact: Brentyn used to live in an apartment just one street away from here before we purchased our house! The garden also has a fantastic restaurant called Jardin. Our early dating days are filled with cherished memories from this place. And for our one-year anniversary, we had Sarah Cooper capture beautiful photos of us right here.

For all the days along the way
