At a party for a couple Dani set up, she met her other friend's boyfriend, David. Dani and David played a classic game of Jewish geography and then she jumped to the important question; "Do you have any new single jewish friends for me?" David immediately thought of Ari and within a few weeks Dani and Ari were on their first date at the Albion Bar in Kips Bay. They drank a few beers and then of course got pizza after. The rest was history.
