Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
LAX is the closest airport and will guaranteed have the most flight options available. It's a pain to get picked up and dropped off, so leave some time for that, but on the plus side it's only 11 miles south of Santa Monica!

Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR)
This airport might have cheaper flights, but the real value is how easy it is to get in and out of the airport. It's 23 miles from Santa Monica, so you'll need a rental car to get around.
