We met in English class in high school and spent more time talking to each other than listening to the teacher. Whataburger and Chick-fil-A became our weekly date spots, where we got to know each other and talk (mostly Dania) for hours. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we loved everything about each other…that we were the perfect match.

Nos conocimos en la prepa durante la clase de Inglés, donde pasamos la mayor parte del tiempo hablando en vez de escuchar a la maestra. Whataburger y Chick-fil-A se convirtieron en nuestros lugares preferidos para nuestras citas cada semana, aquí pudimos conocernos más a fondo y hablar por horas (Dania principalmente). No nos tomó mucho tiempo para darnos cuenta que nos gustaba todo acerca del otro…que estábamos hechos el uno para el otro.

After a long day of Dania TRYING to learn how to ski (and not to fall that often), it was time for dinner at Alpenglow Stube. David tried to act normal all night and not be nervous before asking the most important question of his life. Even though it wasn’t the most normal dinner Dania and David had ever had (because David was way too nervous), it all went great. It was time to leave and as always, a picture to remember the night was needed. The waiter offered to take a picture in front of the beautiful fire place and while David pretended to explain how to get to the phone camera, he told the waiter to get a video instead of pictures. And in the middle of Dania posing for what she thought was a picture, David got on one knee…

Después de un día muy largo donde Dania INTENTÓ aprender a esquiar (y no caerse tan seguido), era hora de ir a cenar a Alpenglow Stube. David trató de actuar de manera normal y no verse tan nervioso antes de hacer la pregunta más importante de su vida. A pesar de que no fue la cena más normal que Dania y David habían tenido hasta ese momento (porque David estaba demasiado nervioso), todo salió genial. Era hora de irse, pero como siempre, una foto para recordar la noche era necesaria. El mesero se ofreció a tomar la foto enfrente de una hermosa chimenea y mientras que David pretendía explicarle como encontrar la cámara del teléfono, le pidió al mesero que tomara un video en lugar de fotos. Mientras que Dania posaba para lo que ella pensaba que era una foto, David se arrodilló…
