If you are traveling in for just the wedding, there are a number of hotels in walking distance to aventura mall and a short from the Monastery.

Alternatively, staying in a hotel or apartment in Miami Beach, Surfside, or Sunny Isle will be better if you plan to stay the weekend in Miami. Note that the bride and groom leave for their honeymoon the day after the wedding.
