Our Story
Irene and Michael met in the summer of 2019. Totally by chance and a little bit of fate. Irene had just returned from Chicago after finishing her UX bootcamp. Michael had missed a flight to Guatemala after losing his passport. Both were on Hinge, casually scrolling, until Irene saw that jawline and said "yep, that's him."
Their first date was at Woodspoon in DTLA. From there it was game over in the best way. Irene fell for Michael’s heart and how genuinely kind he is. Michael couldn’t get enough of Irene’s humor, her warmth, and the way she makes him feel loved. It was different. The good kind of different.
Their relationship grew in the middle of the pandemic, but somehow it felt like they’d found peace in the chaos. They learned each other's thoughts, love languages, boundaries, the whole thing. They built a space full of trust, laughs, and deep care where they could be honest and themselves.
Today, they’re still each other’s best swipe, biggest fan, and favorite kind of love.
