Julie had gone to the Meat Market in Tampa with one of her dear friends who recommended they head inside to sit at the bar for dessert after dinner. As Julie sat down next to Aaron, little did she know that this moment would change the course of her life. She was eyeing the cookies and milk, recommending that she and her friends order them, when Aaron who noticed her interest, offered her a cookie. She politely declined but it was the perfect icebreaker to begin an unlikely conversation between strangers. It flowed, it was genuine, and friendly. They discussed love of wine and desserts, their careers, and life, for longer than expected. Julie gave in and ended up having a cookie. The night ended in exchanged numbers and a suggestion to grab wine at Haven. Aaron, the ultimate gentleman, texted her to ensure she got home okay and followed up to make a plan for their first date.
