After many years of attending some of the same social events without an introduction, we finally met at "Doc's Bar & Grill" in Muenster. Jodie was in town from Oklahoma, visiting a few friends and Adam walked in to catch up with his friends since he had come home for the Holidays. An awkward introduction and a fireball shot later, we were both a little smitten but had no idea we'd end up where we are now. Four years later, we're so thankful that a simple visit to Doc's turned into our forever, and we can't wait to officially be The Dangelmayr's on 9.29.2018!

Back in Muenster for the weekend to celebrate Dangelmayr family Christmas, Adam asked his parents to stage a phone call from his aunt, which would lead them out to 4R Ranch & Winery for a few drinks. Adam then convinced Jodie to join his family out at the winery to pass time until his siblings would arrive in Muenster later that evening. Instead of driving straight to the tasting room, Adam pulled into the driveway of the big white house at 4R. [Fun Fact: Adam's siblings were all raised in this house, and it was originally located directly in front of his parents' current house. Several years ago it was relocated, and now sits at 4R Ranch & Winery!] Adam parked and said he wanted to get out and see the house from the front, to which Jodie replied, "You can do whatever you want, but I'm staying right here." Somehow Adam was able to regroup and convince her to come to the porch with him, where he dropped down to one knee and proposed! Afterwards, both the Neal's and the Dangelmayr's were waiting in the tasting room to celebrate the newly engaged!
