It was nearing the end of summer, everything that could be going wrong was going wrong. Job issues, financial issues, car trouble, and then I had mold infestation in my apartment that swallowed over half of my belongings. I had already prepared to spend another boring Friday night alone on my couch binge-watching....something. I was due for an interview I wasn't too thrilled about. During my interview, the manager ran up to me frantically imploring me to go outside to check the meters so my car wouldn't get towed. When I got to outside, I ran into a sister I hadn't seen in a while. We conversed, embraced and vowed to get together soon. The next day, I sat trying to word my 2 week's notice, and this same sister inboxed me to invite me to a concert that Friday. To my dismay, I was working Friday evening. Just when I thought I wasn't going to be able to go, my manager came into the breakroom, picked an argument with me and told me to pack my things and go. At home and irritated, "something" made me pick up the phone and message that sister back. To my dismay, the free ticket was gone. Just my life! Thursday, inbox: "Hey! There is one more ticket left but it would cost you $20 and gas money for the car group." Sold! I got my spirits up by shopping for a cute top and did my nails and told myself to just have fun! It was crowded. We maneuvered to our seats. Just as I was about to sit down, a tall dark handsome man glided to me dressed in all white. He was wearing HugoBoss, from head to toe he was flawless. His cologne was playing inside my nostrils, and periodically, I felt him stealing glances. We conversed, laughed, and enjoyed the music. EnVogue: Don't Let Go, Free Your Mind along with TLC Creep, No Scrubs, and Waterfalls swept us into a dancing frenzy. Once the concert got started, we couldn't hear each other. But we didn't need to: music, smiles, and possibility was in the air --we've been dancing and listening to music ever since.
