What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our reception. Wear what makes you feel good, but please refrain from wearing white :)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you receive a plus one, it will appear when you go to RSVP. Otherwise, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited. We want to keep our reception intimate with our closest friends and family.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your kids, our reception will be for adults only. This includes anyone under the age of 21 for liquor law purposes. We encourage you to use this evening as a fun "night out" for yourselves!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than Sunday, September 15th. Earlier is always appreciated!

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is parking outside the venue! However, because our venue is owned by the KCK Parks Department, vehicles cannot be left here overnight. Carpooling or Ubering is always recommended :) Additionally, reviews for our venue have mentioned speeding tickets being handed out to those who speed throughout the park, so please be mindful! And please do not park in the grass.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be served and the bar will be opened at 5pm. Because our reception takes place on a weekday, dinner will not be served until 6:30pm to accommodate those who have to work until 5pm. Please feel free to arrive any time between 5pm and 6:30pm.

When does the reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at 11pm. Apparently security is very pushy about the entire property being vacated by midnight, so please head out by 11pm :)

Will the reception be indoors?

Answer

Yes! However, there is a beautiful outdoor space that overlooks Wyandotte County Lake to enjoy the views and fresh air, if weather permits.
