The Eastern Market has been around since the late 1800s and now is a great place to get fresh flowers, produce and also just experience local vendors from Detroit.
If the weather is nice, grab a coffee and go for a walk on the riverwalk. You’ll be able to see Canada on the other side of the bridge and you’ll pass “the Fist” on the way over which is one of Detroits main historic landmark.
A 5 minute walk from the hotel, this park is basically the city center with tons of restaurants and bars. Sometimes there are even vendors set up in the park. Parc restaurant is located right in the center with great American food and drinks.

This train station was abandoned in 1913 and recently redone into a beautiful historical landmark. It is also in a slightly different part of Detroit called Cork Town which is a trendy area with a thriving bar and restaurant scene.
