Maid of Honor
I first met Caity in high school, and we quickly became amazing friends. With Caity being a year old then me, she went off to college after only a few years of friendship. This is when our friendship truly blossomed. While Caity was away at school, I befriended Caity's little sister Shannon (also a bridesmaid). And Caity got jealous! This is when we knew we were meant to be best friends forever. Caity has been there for me through all the ups and downs in life, and has been my biggest supporter. I can't imagine my special day without her standing by my side.
Leland
Best Man
I met Leland in Track & Field in high school, and he has been following me around ever since. He followed me to college and then onto Vegas. We’ve got up to a lot of mischief together and won a lot of card games. He’s been my best friend for a long time and we’ve been there for each other in the good times and in the bad. I couldn’t imagine Leland not being at my side on this special day.
Dana

I met Dana our senior year of college, we were both in a study abroad program in Cuba. While abroad we quickly learned that we could depend on each other for anything. I could rely on Dana to translate, and Dana could rely on me to take care of her when she spent days in the hospital. Fast forward 12 years and nothing has changed. We might be a little older, but I know I can always depend on Dana for anything and everything. My wedding day wouldn't be the same without her.
Spencer

Speaking of people following me around… Spencer has been doing it for the longest considering he followed me out of our mother’s womb. Spencer is the most optimistic and happy person I know. His nonchalant attitude is admirable and it always seems to work out for him. We are always there for each other, even if it is last minute. I am very happy that he is spending this special day with me, with both his front teeth.
Shannon

Shannon, who started as the tag along with her older sister Caity, became one of my greatest friends. I can always count on Shannon to be trying to change the world all the while enjoying and exploring every minute she can. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know and is always willing to lend a hand. I am honored that she is traveling all the way from Spain to stand by my side while I get married.
Shane

This is the man I spent a lot of my life following around. From bad haircuts to baggy jeans, I always wanted to be like my older cousin, Shane, who is in fact, more of an older brother to Spencer and I. I have always treasured his life lessons – either direct or in a “don’t do what I do fashion” – and the freedom to be myself around him (especially when that’s sitting in a corner using his better internet to play video games). I am so excited that he is there to support me in this new stage of my life.
Meghan

I met Meghan after college. Meghan had moved to Portland for a Peace Corps program. With Meghan's love of wine and travel, we became instant friends. Even after she moved back to the East coast, we stayed great friends – traveling, exploring new places together and always enjoying a glass of wine at every place. I am so thankful to have Meghan stand with me while I marry the man of my dreams.
Travis

I met Travis in college and for the sake of cohesion we will say that he followed me to Japan (technically, I got there first). We became great friends exploring Japan and going to all the nerdy areas. Be sure to ask him all about the car he just imported from Japan! Travis has been a steadfast friend ever since and a faithful confidant. I am glad that he has been a part of my life and this special day.
Katie

(From Drake) Katie has been all I could ask for in a sister-in-law and more. She could never get rid of Spencer (so, kudos to him), which I will always be grateful. She has always brought a positive attitude and an honest opinion. She is raising 4 amazing kids and I couldn't be happier to have her be a part of the family. She has been so welcoming to Michelle and is just a genuinely good person!
James
Groomsman
James has done his fair share of following, but it wasn’t me. As Michelle’s little brother, I have heard that he was the best little brother, playing dolls and attending all of the tea parties (Knowing Michelle now, I can only imagine…). I have only known James for a short time, but his patience and easy going nature makes him very easy to get along with. I am excited to become a part of the family and have another brother standing by my side.
