Cocktail attire! We recommend a suit and tie or sport coat and slacks for guys. For ladies, we recommend a cocktail dress or dressy suit or jumpsuit.
August in Vermont is usually beautiful, with daily highs in the upper 70s, dropping down a bit in the evening. That being said, weather is always unpredictable, so check the forecast before you pack!
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at 5 Birds Farm in Woodstock, Vermont. The address is 3300 Hartland Hill Road.
Unless it is pouring rain, the ceremony will be held outdoors on a grassy knoll. The reception will be held indoors in a beautifully restored barn next to the ceremony site.
Yes! We encourage you all to join us for an out-of-towner's get together on Friday evening at the groomsmen's house. Please RSVP on the "RSVP" tab if you plan on coming!
There is limited parking available at the venue, and we will also offer shuttles at regular intervals to and from downtown Woodstock. More info coming soon!
The ceremony will start at 3:30 pm, so please plan to arrive no later than 3:00 to park, find a seat, and enjoy pre-ceremony libations!
Yes! The venue is secluded from major roads, and offers a lot of space for children to run around and play.
Our venue can only accommodate a limited number of guests, so please limit the attendees to those listed on the invite! Please reach out to Daniel or Kristin if you want to speak about this further.
We are having an unplugged ceremony! Kindly keep your cameras, phones, and any other recording devices stowed during this time to be present with us as we say our "I-dos!". We hired a phenomenal photographer/videographer to record the magic for us all. Cameras may come out during the reception - please use the hashtag #kristingetskhanned to help us keep track of all the photos! We'll make sure to share the professional shots ASAP!
Yes please! You can also RSVP online under the "RSVP" tab. Either way, please include a song we can play that will get you out on the dance floor!
No! This sleepy little Vermont town has a lot of bored cops who love to set up speed traps! Drive the speed limit and you'll be fine!
