Yes! Shuttle service will be provided to and from various hotels in Luray. Unfortunately, the buses are unable to service the individual cabins, BUT you are welcome to taxi or drive to one of the hotels for shuttle transport. All times are sharp so don't be late! (approx. 11:45 PM)
Shuttles will pick up guests at various hotels in downtown Luray and provide return service. -or- Limited parking is also available at the venue. -or- Yellow Cab of Luray can be reached at 540-742-1780. (Uber and Lyft are likely to not be available.)
Semi-formal attire is requested. The event will take place outside in the summer time so dress accordingly. We're hoping that when the sun sets - it will cool off, but you never really can predict weather in Virginia. The bride kindly asks that guests refrain from wearing a wedding dress but if that's all you really have in your closet, we'll manage. ;) Ladies - wedges, flats, or chunky heels are recommended. However, you're more than welcome to aerate the lawn with stilettos.
Yes! One of the goats that feels sociable that evening will get to hang out with us.
We love kids - especially our friends' and familys' kids. However, in order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening to let loose - we have chosen for our wedding day to be 15 and over. We hope this means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off! If you need help with finding child care for your little ones, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
