Business casual but whatever you feel most comfortable in...just no white!
Dan and I will be driving with Scout, but some folks are flying in from LA to SF then renting a car to arrive to Healdsburg. We also have family flying in from North Dakota making the trek for us!
Yes! Our time with the photographer and at the park is limited so please be sure you arrive on time!
The wedding ceremony will take place at the Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen, which is about a 45-minute car ride from the dinner reception at H2hotel in Healdsburg.
Most folks are staying in nearby airbnbs while others have booked in rooms in nearby hotels. Because we are trying to keep costs down, coupled with the small size of our wedding, we did not reserve a hotel block.
The road is a little windy so if you’re a passenger that is prone to motion sickness (like Cynthia is), you may want to take non-drowsy Dramamine or volunteer to drive.
Scout has played a big part in our relationship so she has the honor of being our ring bearer.
H2hotel is where we are staying because it's beautiful, convenient, and also, largely being subsidized by our credit card points. We have also stayed at the Fairview Inn & Suites in Healdsburg, which is a 9-minute walk from where our reception is being held.
Ceremony parking: There is ample parking at the Jack London State Park. When you are let in by the attendant at the booth, you will veer to the right to head up to the parking lot where our reception area is just about a 3 minute walk from the lot. Reception parking: The hotel does not have onsite parking, but there is a public parking lot across the street from the hotel at 230 Healdsburg Avenue, as well as street parking.
We will be having a three-course plated dinner with seasonal offerings. We'll be sure to include different protein options.
The only planned activity is our wedding on Saturday. Friday and Sunday are up to guests that may want to explore Healdsburg.
