What should I wear?

Answer

"Smart Casual" Milwaukee in June is typically beautiful and pleasant - not too hot. The ceremony will be outside in the sun, and the reception will be a mix of indoors and outdoors. Some inspiration: Sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, midi-dresses, jumpsuits, button-down shirts, relaxed pants (chinos, khakis), sports coat or blazer. Ultimately we want you to dress nicely but still be comfortable!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 2:45; we plan to start the ceremony on time.

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have carefully planned our wedding and guest list to meet our venue's requirements. Please come with only those included on your invitation. When you enter your name on the RSVP page, you will be shown any +1s or children that are included in your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out to Dan or Nancy!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is a public parking lot for Hubbard Park - https://maps.app.goo.gl/otVJoibgVBym7QP98 If this lot is full, there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet-style and will include meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. Please let us know ASAP if you have a specific food allergy. We will try our best to accommodate your request.

I'm flying into Milwaukee. Will I have to rent a car?

Answer

While getting around Milwaukee is undoubtedly easiest by car, you could plan your visit to use public transportation and ride shares cost effectively. If you choose to stay at Saint Kate or Milwaukee Marriott Downtown (two of our suggested hotels), the Green line bus is a fast straight-shot from the airport. Getting to the venue from these hotels is possible with public transportation, but we would suggest taking an Uber or Lyft for this short distance. Finally, these two hotels are close to the free street car line (The Hop), making many of Milwaukee's best attractions and activities a quick ride on The Hop if not within walking distance.
