Things To Do

Here are some of our favorite things to do in the area! Feel free to reach out for more specific recommendations.

Argo Park Canoe & Kayak

1055 Longshore Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
, (734) 794-6241

This park near where we live in Ann Arbor is a favorite during the summer months. You can rent a kayak or paddle board to explore a dammed section of the Huron River, or rent a tube to float down the cascades and running portion of the River.

Ann Arbor Farmers Market

315 Detroit Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104
, (734) 794-6255

Nancy and Daniel love strolling this market, also surrounded by shops and restaurants. Only open on Saturday mornings.

University of Michigan Museum of Art

525 South State Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48109
, (734) 764-0395

A wonderful collection, free to all to visit. It's also in the heart of Ann Arbor and on the U of M campus, so a great surrounding area to explore.

The Henry Ford Museum

20900 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, MI 48124

This massive history museum was one of Nancy and Daniel's first date spots in Michigan, and their favorite place to take out-of-town guests.

Nichols Arboretum

Ann Arbor, MI 48104

The Arb is a staple of Ann Arbor. The Peony Garden at the Arb will also be in full bloom in June! Nancy and Daniel have taken countless walks here with Hal and friends.
