It all started in the Summer of 2020, when Cameron caught Danielles attention by giving her a rose. This wasn’t just any rose it was a very special rose, a Hinge rose. When Danielle received this "rose" she was intrigued by Camerons “hometown” being San Diego, which so happened to be where Danielle was about to moving to. This handsome San Diegian who looked to be adventurous, kind, fun, loving spirit which was flowing through his pictures had Danielle googly eyed. Perfect he could show her around and give her all the local insiders of exploring this new city to hit things off. Danielle and Cameron started sending messages and instantly hit it off. Little did Danielle know Cameron lived in her hometown… Virginia and not San Diego. Despite this unexpected discovery this could not extinguish the spark that had already begun. With more and more messages which led to hanging out and getting to know each other more, becoming city running buddies (soon to be beach running buddies), and tennis partners (soon to be pickleball partners) and so much more. They both knew distance had nothing on this relationship they had created... and it sure didn’t.

Over the course of 3 years…starting with a summer on the East coast..to a summer of East coast/West coast distance…to a summer on the West coast..together Cameron and Danielle were inseparable. They both knew they had finally found their person. Their forever pickle ball and sailing partner. This is when Cameron knew it was time.

On July 29, 2023, Cameron and Danielle had a planned “double date” to go sailing at sunset..but last minute the other couple just so happened to be unavailable… Cameron and Danielle decided to have a solo sailing date instead…but little did Danielle know it was all part of the plan. Cameron sailed Danielle all over Misson Bay. While their closest friends in San Diego were on the shores of where is now the very shores of where they will be married holding up large letters. Danielle eventually caught eye of large red rosed petaled letters spelling out “DANIELLE WILL YOU MARRY ME?” the question she had been dreaming of all her life! That was when the man of her dreams, Cameron attempted to get on one knee and sail this boat at the same time... asked Danielle to marry him! With no hesitation Danielle overwhelmed with joy and excitement..shouts “YES!”. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you in sunny San Diego
