We do

As some of you may know we did not meet in the most conventional way lol. We were both out at Luna Hookah Lounge vibing. I was with my friend and he was with some of his family. I walked passed there section to the restroom and I seen Kewun looking at me through my shades ( yes I had shades on in the club lol). The restroom was full so I walk back to my section to wait, as I walk back to the bathroom I see him still looking & of course i’m smiling at him. I finally finish in the restroom and proceed to walk back. He then grabs my hand and starts to talk to me. We exchange numbers and guess what yall !?! We find out that we live around the corner from each other. Now the club we met at is 45 minutes away from where we live, what are the chances since everyone considered where we live to be far out and it was not common to meet people in our age that live out here. We continue to talk and we realize that we both have moved out here to Texas with little to no family here & we were both here trying to figure out life. From then on we spoke almost everyday, went on dates etc. In the first 3 months we had experience so much together like missing home, losing loved ones, achieving big goals, and even taking big losses. Through it all we grew as individuals and we grew closer together. Showing up for each other no matter how hard or easy things got. Fast forward just a couple months (about 7-8 to be exact, when you know, you know the say!) we are on a cruise to the Bahamas for my birthday and during dinner I find a ring in my desert and I look up and he’s on one knee. Y’all I was so in shock and happy while everyone else in the dinning area knew and were on standby to record once I seen it. That brings us to now. Our story is not traditional in any way but it is OUR story. It is filled with love, support, laughter, tears, joy and much more. After getting engaged after 7 months of being together we have made it to now 2 1/2 years engaged and we are ready to say I do with all you to witness!
