We first met while serving in the same ministry. At first, we were simply co-laborers in Christ—helping in events, attending meetings, and praying together with others. But over time, God allowed our paths to cross more intentionally. Whether it was staying late after ministry nights, helping carry sound equipment, or laughing during team lunches, our conversations slowly deepened. We discovered how alike we were in values and heart, yet how much we could learn from each other too. We talked about our faith, our families, our dreams, and even our fears. The more we served together, the more we saw each other's character—not just in the spotlight, but behind the scenes, where grace, humility, and faithfulness are most tested. Then came the small, sweet moments—grabbing coffee after service, driving each other home after church events, sending verses on rough days. There was laughter, lots of teasing, and deep, honest talks that felt like safe places. These weren't grand gestures—but they felt like God's gentle way of saying, “This is something special.” When our friendship bloomed into courtship, it was filled with joyful firsts. Our first “official” date—a quiet breakfast with too much nervous laughter. We explored new places, tried new food (some hits and some definite misses!), and built a foundation of joy, respect, and prayer. There were spontaneous road trips, thoughtful notes, and moments where we looked at each other and just knew: God was doing something sacred. It wasn't always smooth. We had our share of differences. But each hurdle became a reminder of why we chose each other—and more importantly, why we needed God at the center. This love story wasn’t rushed or written out of our own will—it was slowly, carefully authored by the Lord. He was there in the quiet beginnings of friendship, in the laughter of discovery, and in the challenges that shaped our commitment. Now, with full hearts, we’re saying yes to the calling of marriage. We would be honored to have you with us as we begin this beautiful new chapter.
