It almost goes without saying, but be sure to play tourist a bit and walk/bike (take Capital Bikeshare!) around the National Mall, check out the Smithsonians, take in the sights.  If we're lucky, there will be cherry blossoms!

National Mall

Beautiful park--there's access on both the Maryland and Virginia sides.  Daniel & Zan have gone here often, and we recommend signing up for the canal boat tour.

Zan & Daniel recommend visiting Georgetown!  A fun way is to bike from Bethesda on the Capital Crescent Trail--you'll even pass by the C&O canal!

If you're staying near Z&D in Silver Spring, check out one of our favorite restaurants--"The Deli".  Come for the corned beef, stay for the complimentary pickle bar.

If kosher restaurants are your thing, we recommend a nice dinner at Al ha'Esh--An Israeli style meat restaurant in Rockville with great food and ambience. B'teavon!
