Every meal we've had here was INCREDIBLE. Couldn't recommend more highly (and chef Amanda is a treat). Note - getting a reservation is a bit of a process: Reservations are released every other Sunday on Tock at 6pm, they book reservations two weeks in advance. Maximum party size is 6 guests. They're open Monday-Fridays with reservation only, with two seatings --6pm and 8:30pm.
Obviously we're biased - we're getting married here! However, pop by during the day to experience the full array of options at RTM. Don't miss the WARM blueberry fritters from Bielers! (closed on Sundays, but the non-Amish parts of the market are open)
Thai cuisine like you've never had before. If you're like Sid, you may need a thai iced tea (or two) to handle the spice.
If you can get a reservation here, you're in for a treat, as Zahav won best restraurant in the country in the 2019 James Beard awards. They offer two 4-course tasting menu options for guests to enjoy at $90 per person, and they're very allergy friendly (from experience). The Pomegranate Lamb Shoulder is what dreams are made of. Reservation Instructions: We welcome reservations Tuesday - Saturday nights, with our first seating at 5:00pm and our last at 9:30pm. Reservations are released 4 weeks to-the-day, at 11 am ET, in advance of the reservation date and open one day at a time in a rolling fashion on Resy.com. P.S. If Zahav seems like too much of a hassle, you can get another taste of Chef Solomonov at his other resturants in Philly including Laser Wolf (more relaxed Israeli fare which apparently has the sames dips as Zahav) and Goldie (vegan israeli spot known for falafel and tahini shakes)
Where Dan and Sid met. A great place for a stroll or to plop on a bench to catch up with a friend and people watch.
No surprise to anyone who knows Sidney: she loves a zoo (and almost convinced Dan to get married here). The Philly Zoo is surprisingly impressive despite its small footprint. Get there early before the animals take their midday naps!
