Sister of Honor
Cathy and Sarah first met upon Sarah's birth which ruined Cathy's birthday party. Cathy has since forgiven Sarah. Cathy and Sarah are sisters by blood and friends by choice.
Jim
Best Man
Jim & Dan have been friends since high school, when Dan would mock Jim's love for country music. Jim learned to love punk rock and Dan learned to tolerate some country music, so they've remained BFFs (even though Jim left Dan for Wisconsin).
Lindsey
Friend of Honor
Lindsey and Sarah met in grad school and have been friends ever since. They solidified their friendship through travel (they spent a month in Europe and didn't get sick of each other!) and remain friends to this day from opposite ends of the state.
Jason
Best Man
Dan hired Jason to work the drive thru at Steak n Shake in 2005. Since then, they've started no fewer than 35 bands together, going on tour to no more than 3 states.
Amy
Wedding Entourage
Amy and Sarah met in high school orientation. They've been friends ever since and lived together right after college. They've had some wild and crazy times together and are still friends, just maybe a little more grown up.
Chelsea
Best Sister
Dan met Chelsea on the day she was born, and sloppily decorated a cake in her honor that same day. She was adult enough to buy her first house on her 21st birthday, and then let her big brother live with her for 4 years (but only so she didn't have to answer the front door for the pizza guy).
Kelsie
Wedding Entourage
Kelsie and Sarah met in their co-ed honors fraternity in college. Kelsie introduced Sarah to the Golden Girls and Sarah can never repay her for that. Thank you for being a friend.
Brad
Wedding Entourage
Brad still thinks it's weird to hear people call his brother "Dan" instead of "Daniel", and loves to act like the big brother (even though he's #2).
Caroline
Wedding Entourage
Caroline and Sarah first met in grad school orientation and it turned out they lived in the same apartment complex. Hijinks ensued.
Joe
Wedding Entourage
Dan didn't shoddily decorate a cake for his brother Joe on the day he was born (lesson learned), but he hopefully made up for it by driving to Springfield MO to have Doritos Locos tacos together on the first day they were available to the public.
Jeff
Wedding Entourage
Jeff and Sarah met in high school and have been friends ever since, despite living in different cities for most of their adulthood. Jeff is the reason Dan and Sarah started dating!
Joanna
Wedding Entourage
Jo & Dan met in high school jazz band, but really bonded over a shared interest in rock bands like They Might Be Giants and Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers. Dr. Jo's medical studies gave us a great opportunity to travel to San Diego, but we sure are glad to have her back in St. Louis with us!
Erik
Officiant
Erik was Dan's section leader in high school band, and drove him around to all the competitions in his baby blue Sunbird convertible with the top down (he was very very cool). 25 years later, they're still playing music together, albeit in rock n roll bands!
