This is a great nature park with trails for walking, a big open field for frisbee and cartwheels, several interactive art pieces for playing on. The Newfields Art Museum is just up the street, too, if you're looking for some indoor beauty.

This is an area that just opened in downtown Indy on the north end of Mass Ave. It has a food hall, a movie theater, some nice areas to walk around and a hotel in the area.
Voted the best children's museum in the country, this place has something for everyone — including adults (and we are speaking from personal experience).
This is a top-notch zoo that really places a focus on conservation, and has a lot of great exhibits.
This mall has a lot of great shopping with all kinds of stores (clothes, tech, kids, home) and also really nice restaurants around the area.
This isn't a specified place or activity, but this is the neighborhood where Sarah and Dan live. One of their favorite evening or weekend activities is to walk around and look at all the beautiful historic homes. So if you're looking for a nice walk, park along the street and just be-bop around.
If you're looking for a good breakfast, brunch or lunch spot — this is the place to go (but be prepared for a little wait, they don't take reservations). They've got all sorts of great options, including for vegans, and is often a weekend regular for Sarah and Dan.
