Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places and things to do in the area! Here are some recommendations for couples and families alike.

Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park

1850 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46228
, (317) 923-1331

This is a great nature park with trails for walking, a big open field for frisbee and cartwheels, several interactive art pieces for playing on. The Newfields Art Museum is just up the street, too, if you're looking for some indoor beauty.

Coat Check Coffee

401 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204
, (317) 550-5008

One of Sarah and Dan's favorite coffee shops. They have lots of interesting drinks, and of course your classics, along with some really delicious pastries. This was an oft-frequented spot when Sarah lived across the street.

Massachusetts Avenue

Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis, IN

This is the area where Sarah first lived and where she and Danny spent a lot of time early in their relationship. There are lots of great local shops to pop into, some really yummy restaurants and coffee shops and just a nice walk.

Bottleworks District

850 Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204
, (317) 556-1234

This is an area that just opened in downtown Indy on the north end of Mass Ave. It has a food hall, a movie theater, some nice areas to walk around and a hotel in the area.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis

3000 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208
, (317) 334-4000

Voted the best children's museum in the country, this place has something for everyone — including adults (and we are speaking from personal experience).

Indianapolis Zoo

1200 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222
, (317) 630-2001

This is a top-notch zoo that really places a focus on conservation, and has a lot of great exhibits.

The Fashion Mall at Keystone

8702 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240
, (317) 574-4000

This mall has a lot of great shopping with all kinds of stores (clothes, tech, kids, home) and also really nice restaurants around the area.

Meridian-Kessler

Indianapolis, IN

This isn't a specified place or activity, but this is the neighborhood where Sarah and Dan live. One of their favorite evening or weekend activities is to walk around and look at all the beautiful historic homes. So if you're looking for a nice walk, park along the street and just be-bop around.

Cafe Patachou

4901 North Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205
, (317) 925-2823

If you're looking for a good breakfast, brunch or lunch spot — this is the place to go (but be prepared for a little wait, they don't take reservations). They've got all sorts of great options, including for vegans, and is often a weekend regular for Sarah and Dan.
