Dan and Rael'e met through Bumble and had their first date at Aventura in Ann Arbor for tapas and sangria. After a few more dates, it was clear that they were starting something special and parent introductions soon followed. Over the course of two years, Dan and Rael'e made lifelong memories going to Northern Michigan, making delicious meals, and spending time together. Dan shared his love of wine and National Parks with Rael'e on a trip to Napa Valley that included Yosemite, Rael'e’s first National Park. Their love for each other grew as they traveled to other National Parks and shared many more bottles of wine.

Planning a proposal is challenging under normal circumstances, but the obstacles of 2020 made Dan and Rael'es engagement that much more special. One of their favorite places to go is Townline Ciderworks where they spent many happy afternoons drinking cider with friends and family while looking out over the beautiful Northern Michigan orchards. Under the guise of celebrating their second anniversary, Dan took Rael'e to Townline where there were flowers and a photographer waiting. Dan didn't waste any time in proposing to Rael'e and surprised her one more time when her parents showed up from across the state to share in the celebration.

Now more than ever, Dan and Rael'e are so excited to celebrate their marriage with friends and family. The Wedding and Reception will be held at The Reserve in Birmingham, one of their favorite places to attend a wine tasting or share a meal with loved ones.
