Best Man
Corey is the Athletic Director of West Seattle High School where we coach swim together. We became good friends when Corey broke his personal rule of never hanging out with coaches outside of work and we spent all summer hiking. We then fell off a mountain together and have been inseparable since.
Maid of Honor
Madison and I met 7 years ago and have been inseparable since. She's my best friend, right hand woman, a confidant and the true definition of a 'ride or die' friend. I can't imagine my special day without her standing by my side—just like she has all these years.
Groomsman
James and I are brothers and through recent years of growing and bonding he has become one of my best friends. I never wanted to admit it growing up, but I've always modeled how I walked, talked, and dressed after him.
Bridesmaid
I have known Nyasha my whole life, She is one of my cousins and not only is she my family but she is a great friend. She is such a beautiful soul and to know her is to love her, truly. I can't wait to have her stand with me on my big day.
Groomsman
One time in 3rd grade, while we were playing dodgeball, I watched Mario say "My spidy-senses are tingling" as he did The Matrix dodge from a dodgeball. I feel like that's all that needs to be said.
Bridesmaid
Peace and I met in College and I truly believe we have created a lifelong sisterhood. I remember us sitting on the floor of our college apartment and daydreaming about the future and what it holds, and now we are both walking in many of the dreams and aspirations we had back then. Wouldn't want anyone else by my side on this special day!
Groomsman
Ronek and I were born on the same day in the same hospital just a few hours apart. I like to believe we were placed right next to each other in that baby viewing room.
Bridesmaid
From wearing matching BFF bracelets to playing 'mermaids' in the pool, Ropa and I have really grown up together. She is more than a cousin to me, she is a long-lost sister. She's been part of so many of my best memories, It's only fitting that she'll join me as a bridesmaid on my greatest adventure yet.
Groomsman
Jon and I met through club swim as kids but never became friends. We went to middle school together and would always see each other in the hallways and just awkwardly pass by. Jon tried saying hi at first but I was too socially inept to know what to do with myself. He stopped because our encounters became too painful. In high school I had figured out how to form whole sentences and Jon and I started swimming together again. With him being the year above me, he took me under his wing and always made sure I had a loyal friend.
Bridesmaid
Primary school really has a way of bonding people for life. Shay is not only reliable, caring, and funny, but she is also the person that I can go days without talking to and we always pick up right where we left off. She is so amazing and we have grown a sisterhood throughout all these years. I cherish our friendship and her beautiful, strong heart!
Groomsman
Tim does not care. I love that about Tim. Tim cares about our friendship. I love that about Tim.
Bridesmaid
I am so honored that Naleli is able to keep her childhood promise of being in my wedding now. We currently are separated by time zones but she will always be one of my best friends. Naleli was one of the very first friends I made in 4th grade, from talent show auditions to long days playing netball , I knew I could always count on Naleli to be there and to make me laugh! 10 years later and I can still say the same.
Groomsman
Dan and I met in middle school and bonded over our shared name. We then partnered together in science class to build a boat out of water bottles and paper. Our boat did so well that it was put in an exhibit at the downtown Science Museum. He was the first call I received to check on my well-being after the Suns lost in The Finals. A true friend.
Bridesmaid
I’ll forever be thankful for this girl and the fact that her bedroom was right next to mine in college! Living with her are some of my best college memories. From the first time I met her, I knew that she was one of the most genuine people that I would ever meet. Over the past years of knowing her she truly is able to be true to herself at all times and that's one of the things that I really admire about her.
Groomsman
Brendan and I did our best to keep each other sane during our long deployments overseas. We were also the cause of each other’s insanity a lot of time but all great friendships have good checks and balances and at the end of the day, we were there for each other 100%.
Bridesmaid
