Our story began in Oaxaca, in 2020. Dan was beginning his long motorcycle trip from NYC to Ushuaia, and one night, he found himself in the beach town of Mazunte—probably looking for tacos and a place to cool off. Instead, he found me! Life took us in different directions after that. But the universe (or Instagram) kept us in each other’s lives. Fast-forward to our next meetup two years afterwards, and—well, let’s just say it was obvious: we weren’t meant to just follow each other on social media, but in life, too. Our journeys were meant to be shared. And so, we set off to explore the world together. Turns out, we’re surprisingly good at surviving together: thousands of KMs on bicycles, in vans, squeezed into a tent the size of a shoebox, and hiking until we forgot how to feel our legs. Honestly, it could’ve been a disaster... but somehow, every trek, every freezing night in that tiny tent, and every lost moment without Wi-Fi just made us even more inseparable. And now, here we are in 2024, happily nested in Austin, Texas. After all that globe-trotting, we figured it was time to relax, grow some roots, and tackle new ‘adventures’ like assembling IKEA furniture and trying to agree on which Netflix show to watch next. Life’s funny that way!
