Things To Do

Staying in town for a bit? Here are a few of our favorite places to hang out and eat.

Atuvava Bakery

3800 South 28th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55406

From cinnamon rolls to fresh bread, cookies, biscuits and more, Atuvava's got everything you need out of gluten-free baked goodness. Double check their website/socials for hours as they are only open a few days a week.

Key West Bistro

2803 East 38th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55406

Legendary sandwiches, coffee and drinks inspired from Key West cuisine. We'd go here a lot while we were still living in our apartment!

Asa's Bakery

5011 South 34th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55417

Incredible New York-style bagels and bialys made right here in South Minneapolis. Great for an easy breakfast paired with coffee from Crema next door.

Crema Coffee + Cream

5013 South 34th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55417

Pairs well with a bagel from Asa's next door! Crema has everything: breakfast sandwiches, coffee, soft serve (including a vegan option!), pastries and tea.

Northbound Smokehouse & Brewpub

2716 East 38th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55406

Another restaurant staple during our time living at the Station 38 apartments. Highly acclaimed — it was even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri!

Claddagh Coffee

459 7th Street West, Saint Paul, MN 55102

Marah's favorite coffee shop in St. Paul!

Minneapolis Institute of Art

2400 3rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55404

A must-see for the art lover. And the best part? Admission is free!

Minnehaha Falls

Minneapolis, MN 55417

We shot our first round of engagement photos here! Check the weather before visiting as early spring can be a bit chilly (and snowy) here.

Mall of America®

60 East Broadway, Bloomington, MN 55425

Did you know Minnesota had the first-ever indoor mall in the U.S.? It's only fitting it houses the largest one, too!
