We're Getting Married - Let's Party!

We met at Philly's Finest, a Philadelphia Eagles sports bar in Jacksonville Beach. It was love at first sight for Dan when he saw me wandering through the bar looking for a seat in my throwback Cunningham football jersey. We chatted and cheered on the Birds that night and then became inseparable ever since....or so we thought.

After a couple months of dating, Dan left for a 6 month turned 9 month deployment. We spent all of those months emailing back and forth and were only able to FaceTime during the seldom port calls. The distance and multiple extensions were challenging and heart breaking but nothing could keep us apart. We both knew deep down that we wanted to be together and would make it through deployment stronger as a couple. After all it is true - absence does make the heart grow fonder!

It was the evening before our two year anniversary when we walked out onto a marina to watch the sunset together. Dan turned to me and started declaring his undying love which was super sweet but suspicious at the same time. The next thing I know, Dan gets down on one knee and asks if I will spend forever with him. Of course the answer was an automatic "YES!".

We are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with our family and friends. We promised you all good food, great music and bad dancing so we hope you all are able to join in on the fun! Can't wait to see y'all in Hilton Head!
