Things To Do

There's lots of fun things to do and nosh on in Milwaukee! Here are a few suggestions but this is by no means exhaustive. We encourage you to explore!

Bavette La Boucherie

217 North Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Our pal Alex helps run the show here so obviously we recommend.

Milwaukee Public Market

400 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

So many food options here!

Colectivo Coffee of the Third Ward

223 East Saint Paul Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Any Colectivo Coffee is a good Colectivo Coffee. If you decide to hang in Bayview, there's one there too!

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 North Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

An absolute classic.

URSA

2534 South Kinnickinnic Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207

The Bayview neighborhood is a great hang. This is our favorite store for...everything. Kevin especially loves the smells and Danie especially loves the accessories!

Beans & Barley

1901 East North Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202

We love Beans and Barley for breakfast and lunch! This isn't downtown but it is our favorite.

Milwaukee County Zoo

10001 West Bluemound Road, Milwaukee, WI 53226

We've never been here together (Kevin went numerous times as a young lad) but we hope they have capybaras.

Mitchell Park Domes

524 South Layton Boulevard, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Botanical domes!!!

Lakeshore State Park

500 North Harbor Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

For a nice little lakefront walk.

Blackbird Bar

3007 South Kinnickinnic Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207

This place has a good selection of beer, interesting cocktails, quirky decor, and--most importantly-- a handful of very well-maintained pinball machines. A favorite of Kev's!

Cactus Club

2496 South Wentworth Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207

Great concert venue -- Telethon's played here too many times to count -- but also a cozy neighborhood bar with friendly staff.

Brown Deer Park Golf Course

7625 North Range Line Road, Milwaukee, WI 53209

If ya like golf, like Kev does, Milwaukee County has a number of public courses. Brown Deer is the nicest of them all while still being plenty affordable.

For all the days along the way
