Jessie Greenwell met Dan out surfing one day when he was visiting Wrightsville Beach from Boston. When she found out (after five full minutes of knowing him) that he was single and lived in Boston she quickly tried to set him up with her best friend Jordan. Although Dan's first response was "I don't do set ups" he eventually came around to the idea... right after he sold his condo in Boston where Jordan was still living. A few zoom dates, flights to Boston, and visits to NC later Jordan decided to move to Wrightsville Beach as well. One thing Jordan tried to make clear to everyone was she was NOT moving there for him. Guess it all worked out in the end either way :)

Most mornings we take a long walk on the beach with our beloved boxer (Jackson "Jack"). This particular morning Dan attempted to get down on one knee right when Jack spotted a doberman down the beach. Although this made Dan's proposal a little less smooth than he intended, it was still the most special moment. We were able to celebrate at our favorite coffee shop that morning, with our Wilmington friends that night, then the weekend in Philadelphia with both of our immediate family. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Wrightsville Beach!
