A wonderful art museum in town.
Free zoo! Free botanical gardens! Awesome park!
This is a very nice park downtown near the river. You can walk through the park and along the river. See the ruins of the old Gold Medal Flour Mill. (It actually is pretty cool!) You can visit the Mill City Museum to learn more about the explosion! Also, go into the Guthrie Theater! You can ride the longest escalator in the Midwest and then walk onto the largest cantilever bridge!. From there, take an elevator to the top floor (The Yellow Room) where you can see an awesome view of the city! When you are finished, meander across the St. Anthony Bridge! You have now entered our neighborhood, Northeast, and will be met with several bars and restaurants!
An awesome waterfall that's part of an awesome park!
Check out the North Loop! This is the warehouse district where Dan used to live before he moved to Northeast. There are a lot of great boutiques (Filson, D.NOLO, Martin Patrick, Shinola, etc.), restaurants (Red Rabbit, Haute Dish, Black Sheep Pizza, Rise Bagel Co., etc.) coffee shops (SpyHouse, Bachelor Farmer Cafe), and breweries (Modest, Fulton, Inbound). Check out Club Jager if you are looking for some nightlife action!
Incredibly fancy (primarily) men's store. Walk around and be amazed. In an awesome part of town with lots of good coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants around. There is a small jewelry store inside Martin Patrick called Filigree. They have AMAZING things! There is a larger jewelry store up above, which is where Dan bought my engagement ring!!!
The Mall of America is near the airport. It is definitely an attraction. It is pretty cool but can be overwhelming! We encourage you to check it out if you wish!
Great restaurant right in our neighborhood. Awesome ambience, great pizza, delicious small plates. Consider calling ahead if going during normal dinner hours. If you'd like a great cocktail, check out Back Bar behind the restaurant. Enter through the ally to the right of the building.
Awesome restaurant downtown! Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. We are getting our wedding cake from Angel Food, the bakery above! *You could probably walk here from the hotel.
A brewery Minnesota is known for! Awesome beer, tasty food. It is huge and you can see all the brewing equipment, which is pretty impressive.
One of our favorite spots in the neighborhood, right near the wedding venue.
Live music every night! Always free!
