One of our favorites!
Yummy food and drinks with a peak California vibe.
Italian food is a reliable go-to here in San Diego. Lots of yummy options here including some gluten free choices.
We certainly recommend you get something fishy while out here. Poke chop is Daniel’s favorite. Build-your-own style poke bowls with lots of gluten free sauces.
San Diego Zoo is world famous for its conservation work, and for good reason! Further, the pandas, back in San Diego after quite a few years, may be out for visiting by the time you are in town! The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is about 30 minutes North East from here and can also be a lot of fun. The Safari Park has larger enclosures, be sure to ride the tram if you visit.
February is San Diego's Museum Month! Half price admission across San Diego museums. Learn more here: https://timesofsandiego.com/events-calendar/?_evDiscoveryPath=/event%2F2851501-san-diego-museum-month
This Thai restaurant is the best around, although there is strong competition! We eat here at least once per week because what's the point of self control when you can eat Pad Thai and Panang...We live right down the street, let us know if you're eating here and odds are strong that we will come join ;)
Right down the street from our celebration! Stop by Parakeet Cafe for a little breakfast before heading over to enjoy some art for a very La Jolla morning.
Enjoy Mission Bay via Paddle Board!
Daniel's favorite (ok, top three...).
Another favorite, featuring gluten free tempura! No reservations so be prepared for a little wait if you go at peak dinner time (7-8 pm) on Friday night.
