When does the boat leave the dock?

Answer

Promptly at 5 o'clock. Everyone must be on board by then! Unfortunately, if you are running late you will miss the boat.

What if there is inclement weather?

If there is inclement weather the ceremony & reception will be held inside the boat.

What should I wear?

Answer

Casual attire, our event will be on a boat so please dress accordingly! It may be chilly in the evening.

There will be a cash bar.

Is there a seating chart?

Answer

No, the Riverboat has open/unassigned seating on both upper & lower decks. Feel free to move about and explore all the great views.

Can we takes pictures?

Answer

Yes, feel free to take pictures. We will have a photographer and a couple friends will also be taking pictures. We want them to enjoy the day too so we actually encourage you to take pictures.

Will the boat be making any stops?

Answer

No, we will be on the boat from 4:30-7:30.

Why a riverboat?

Answer

Why not! We were trying to think of something fun and unique for our special day. Last year we were taking a sunset cruise on the St Genevieve and when we were getting off the boat we both were thinking the same thing! I contacted them and they were just starting to offer private parties. We soon found out Riverboat cruises is one of the many things that we both like to do. We hope everyone enjoys the venue as much as we have. 👩‍❤️‍👨

What kind of music will there be on the boat?

Answer

There won’t be a live band or dj. We will be playing a compilation of many of our favorite songs, some are perfect for our special day😉😉. Yes, you can dance if you like. 💃 🕺

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Answer

We are going to see Mr Bob Dylan in Milwaukee - His Honeymoon ! We are planning a road trip heading for the beach - Her Honeymoon sometime soon. The exact place, route yet to be determined. We hope to travel more next year and the years to come. We have lots of places to see on our bucket lists!

Are you saving for anything specific?

Answer

Both of our stereo systems are antiques, so we are hoping to get something a little more current.

Are Children invited?

Answer

The simple answer is yes. Due to safety reasons and limited space on the boat we prefer the very young (under 6) stay home which will give their parents a nice night out too. Hope everyone understand.

Is Smoking allowed?

Answer

Due to coastguard regulations there is no smoking on the riverboat. If you need more information please see a member of the St Genevieve crew.
