Enjoy local museums, monuments, live music and sporting events around DC in the days leading up to and following the wedding. Please keep in mind some museums require timed-entry passes and it's always good to plan ahead by visiting their website weeks/months in advance to secure your spot. Many will also offer a limited number of same-day tickets. Below you'll find a list of Dan & Jamie's personal favorites.

Arboretum

Folger Shakespeare Library

Nationals Park

For fans of baseball, the Washington Nationals will be taking on the Toronto Blue Jays on May 3rd and May 5th. They're playing on May 4th too but you'll be busy :)

Boating In DC at Fletcher's Cove

Explore the Potomac by renting a kayak, canoe or rowboat at the boat house. Accessible via the Capital Crescent Trail by bike. There are similar options near Waterfront, Georgetown and Kingman Island too.

John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

If you're into operas, ballets, or broadway shows the Kennedy Center has you covered. It also offers great views of the Potomac.
