Rebecca and Ellen met in September 2006 while nervously awaiting orchestra auditions at University of Maryland. Their first date was BSO (Baltimore Symphony Orchestra) College Night, and was the first of many times they'd be lost in Baltimore at midnight together!

Michelle is Dan's older sister. Michelle and Ellen's first date was technically one of the Tiki Trail Races in Summer 2016. "Oh by the way, my sister is here!" is a great way meet your first future in-law, luckily, Michelle didn't end up being scary at all.
Rachel Yehl

Rachel and Ellen met in February 2011 when Ellen started working at Wiley-Blackwell, and Rachel had to train her. Their first date was at Puppies Galore (which is as awesome as it sounds). Ellen wanted to ask her to keep hanging out after petting the puppies but was too nervous.
