Things To Do
Go for a jog or stroll along the East River. Buy a donut from Peter Pan Donut (only 1 dollar!) The best dollar you will ever spend, and that's a guarantee. Go to Sephora on Bedford Ave to try on makeup and feel beautiful. Go to Whole Foods, across the street from Sephora, free restrooms and the occasional sample. Check out some art at the Greenpoint Gallery, we've never been but we wanted to include something like this. Go for a walk in one of Brooklyn’s lovely parks, including McCarren Park, Prospect Park, Transmitter Park, or Domino Park (it's true, there are a lot of parks). Or you can boldly venture to Manhattan to visit Central Park! Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, but make sure to come back over it for wedding-related activities. Go to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to look at the botanicals :) There are also cute retail shops galore on Franklin Ave. in Greenpoint; buy yourself something special, support the local economy, plus, you deserve it!
