Brother of the Groom Any favorite memories you’ve shared with your brother? One of the more special moments we have shared as brothers was on May 5th, 2018. When despite starting college years and cities apart, we graduated on the same day from the same school, both stepping forward into the next chapters of our lives. From the moment I met Eden I could tell she was a good person, but the day I walked into Dans apartment, and she was happily doing Dan’s dishes, I knew she was the best person. I am very happy to see that Dan has found someone as special as he is to share the rest of his life with. Congratulations to you both.

Kind words for the happy couple. I can remember sitting and chatting with Eden about boys when we were young, trying to understand why they do what they do and smell they way they smell. More specifically how we could make it in the world without them. As time went on Eden and we grew up, Eden has become such an amazing women, an inspiration and example in Christ. I know Dan is an answer to prayers and a blessing from God. His presence in her life has strengthened her not only as and individual but also her relationship with God. I am beyond excited to see what future blessing God will give them.

One of My favorite memories with Dan was just one weekend we spent playing fortnite. Dan came over after work, set up his xbox and a little tv on a TV dinner stand in the corner of the coach. It was a bit sunny and there was some glare on Dan's tv and he couldn’t stand it, so Dan being the committed gamer he is, he devised a blanket fort around his set up so he could game glare free. That being said, as something as silly as that seems, Dan commits to anything he does and there is no doubt in my mind this marriage will be no exception.

Sister of the Bride How did you know Dan was the one for Eden? Eden’s the most confident person I know, so seeing her get flustered around Dan the first time I saw them together was magical to me. I immediately thought, “He’s the one.”

I met Dan playing basketball at the Y, and it was so easy to get to know him. I loved how much he loved Jesus, and how he couldn't help but talk about Him. We had a ton of fun being roommates for a short 5 months, and he is an awesome friend. I think the Eden is getting a great husband.

Sister of the Bride How did you know Dan was THE ONE? The way Eden is when she’s around Dan is like seeing a unicorn. You didn’t believe it could happen until you saw it with your own eyes.

The funny thing for me is although I'm Dan's groomsmen I've known Eden longer. I can honestly say I don't know if I'd have lasted those first few years of being saved without a friend like Eden constantly including me in gatherings and giving encouragement. I met Dan only a few years ago at ultimate frisbee and we rapidly became friends. I was transitioning to a new role in my walk with God as a younger leader. I again don't know if I could have pulled it off without Dan's friendship and encouragement. That's the kind of people these two are. They bring out the best in others and pick you up when you are feeling down. Their marriage will be one to behold as these two can accomplish so much leaning on each other and walking with Jesus.

How did you get to know Eden? Eden and I got to know each other really well when we began coaching JV volleyball together. I was so thankful to have someone like her to work with! Sotalented and determined and such a hilarious sense of humor. No one is quite like Eden. She knows what she wants and always knows exactly how to get it. She doesn't waste time. She is always busy working for someone else's good. She is a servant of servants in the Church. She is an amazing person to be around and I'm so glad to call her my friend. I'm excited for her to have met her match in Dan. :) They will have a long and happy life together.

Tell us a little bit about Dan and what makes your friendship with him so special. I was fortunate enough to have met one of my best friends early in life. Dan is someone who has always had my back No matter what. I could tell him anything, and trust he would accept it because he knows who I am. We have memories from kindergarten playing soccer together, to senior year on the football field with our pre game end zone ritual. Outside of athletics Dan and I bonded through our social circle, and during classes (even if he is a Vikings fan) 🤷‍♂️. I know how excited he is to be marrying his soul mate, because he and I got to talk a lot when he was marrying me and my soul mate near the end of 2018. I know Dan, and this is his next chapter, and he will absolutely crush it!

I first met Dan when he was traveling in Asia through some mutual friends. From there we hit it off and found we had a lot of similar interests including DDR. We clicked, cuz I don’t know many guys who love DDR as much as I do. My fav memory of Dan def has to be when me Andy and Dan climbed Huashan Mountain together. 6 hours of hiking later we landed in a bunk house soaking wet. Dan took his shoes off and it was game over. They stank so bad other people in the bunk house were using scented tissues over their noses just to fall asleep. We all had a good laugh from that. The hike down was just as fun and I felt that was the day I really got to know Dan on a whole new level. I’m excited for you guys as you tie the Knot! Keep J man at the center and never stop dreaming together!

I think it’s a rare and beautiful thing to be able to say that I’ve walked through 20 plus years of life with a friend that is closer than a sister. To me, Eden is just that, she’s my sister, my dearest friend and kindred spirit. We’re an unlikely pair of red-heads who have journeyed through nearly every phase of life together: from toddlers to teenagers and everything in-between. We navigated, the bumpy ride, through our awkward teen years and conquered college. We laughed, cried, bickered and encouraged. Each phase brought new adventures and with them, new memories - many of which I will forever count as my favorites. And now, I look forward to filling a *favorite memory* slot for the day I get to witness my dearest friend marry the man we have prayed for.

I remember this time last year sitting outside of Starbucks drinking our iced teas, just after a workout at the gym, trying to come up with this amazing guy Eden should date. I believe everyone is due happiness in life being with the soul mate God has planned for them. I was so happy in my marriage, I wanted Eden to find someone just as special to be happy with too. I remember going through lists of potential options, but each one didn't fit the criteria for Eden. Finally in August when Eden started dating Dan, everything just clicked. They were like two peas in a pod meant to be together and you could tell. It all made so much sense why it would have never worked with anyone else. Cheers to the happy couple!

Any special memories of your friendship with Dan? I met Dan in the beginning of my time at Morrisville State College. By graduation, we were friends, ski buddies, brothers in Christ, and heading off on a missions trip to China together. Pretty convenient, since if I had to pick one friend to travel the world with, it would definitely be none other my steady, outgoing friend Dan. Yes, while there we did have a roman candle fight in the street, and he may have been mere inches from landing a direct headshot on me (I have video footage to prove it), I am happy to report we are still good friends. As a person he sets the bar high, but I think in Eden he’s found someone who does nothing less!

Throughout the years we've shared countless happy memories together and I'm excited to create more with the newest addition to our family Eden.
