Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your kids! However, we are going kid-free for our wedding events. One of our room blocks, Villa Roma, has tons of activities for kids (like 80's-style summer camp vibes) so if you're traveling with the kiddos, that may be your best bet for nearby lodging!

Question

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

That depends! Villa Roma is a great choice, and is totally giving 80's summer camp vibes (seriously, check out their website, it's CRAZY). We will also be providing transportation to-and-from the Arnold House to Villa Roma for the wedding on Saturday. Villa Roma has a 2-night minimum stay. Kenoza Lake View Manor has just 1 room left in our block, so if you're looking for a place to stay for just 1 night, this would be a great choice. We will also be providing transportation to-and-from the Arnold House to Kenoza Lake View Manor for the wedding on Saturday. If you fancy something a bit more secluded and high-end, you could book Nine River Road, which is a sister property to the Arnold House and about a 20 minute drive away. Nine River Road requires a 2-night minimum stay. Please note, we will not be providing transportation from this hotel. There are also a handful of Airbnb's around the area, so if you're looking for something a bit more secluded, that could be a great choice. There is a link to 1 house (the Dome House looks really cool) that is walkable to the Arnold House in the "Travel" section.

Question

What's The Deal With Transportation?

Answer

We will be providing transportation to-and-from Kenoza Lake View Manor and Villa Roma for both the Welcome Party on Friday 10/4 and the Wedding on 10/5. Busses will pick up from those hotels and transport you to the Arnold House. There will be return transportation to those hotels provided as well, please see the "travel" section for the bus schedules. Parking is available at the Arnold House. Sadly, Uber/Lyft is not an option in this neck of the woods, so if you are staying at another location, please make sure you organize your own transportation beforehand or have a designated driver for that event.

Question

I'm Hungry, What Will We Eat?

Answer

Friday night's Welcome Party will offer wood-fired pizza, along with antipasti, salads and dessert. Cocktails, wine, beer & non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Saturday night's Wedding will provide a feast of options, from cheese, charcuterie & raw bar at the Cocktail Hour to a smorgasbord of salads, entrees, vegetables and dessert during the Reception. Cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Hot and cold brunch items (and more importantly, coffee) will be served on Sunday's Farewell Brunch. All food for the weekend will be served buffet-style, and there will be vegetarian and vegan options served at all events. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please alert the staff working that event upon your arrival.

Question

What's The Dress Code?

Answer

Friday Welcome Party: come casual and cozy! Jeans, sweaters, comfy dresses, button-downs and warm jackets are all welcome. **Please note, this is an outdoor-indoor event, with a large part taking place in Shandelee Garden (weather permitting). Bring a layer, a hat, a scarf, whatever makes you feel best outdoors. Saturday Wedding: Catskills Cocktail attire! What does that mean? We're not entirely sure, but festive dresses with your favorite boots, fabulous jumpsuits, suits or sportscoats are all great options. **Portions of this wedding will be outside, weather permitting, so don't be afraid of a flat-soled shoe, a warm jacket or cozy shawl. Sunday Farewell Brunch: Anything goes. Come for the coffee, stay for the bacon & eggs.
