Things to do in St. Louis

We're so excited to share our city with you! Here are a few things to do while you're here
Lafayette Park

Lafayette Park

2023 Lafayette Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63104

This beautiful park is a stone's throw from our home and it is where we took most of our engagement photos. Grab a beer from Sqwires' curbside drink menu (https://sqwires.com/curbside-drink-menu/)* or a warm drink from Park Avenue Coffee (https://parkavenuecoffee.com/pages/lafayette-square) and stretch your legs. *There is no prohibition on the public consumption of alcohol in Missouri. In fact, the Missouri General Assembly prohibits local governments from adopting or enforcing any rule punishing simple public intoxication "or being a common or habitual drunkard." RSMo 67.305.

The City Museum

The City Museum

750 North 16th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103
, (314) 231-2489

Great for kids - or anyone who likes urban art! Old city materials repurposed by artists to create miles of tunnels, slides, bridges, and climbers. There's even a ball pit and a Ferris wheel. Located .7 miles away from the hotel.

Forest Park

Forest Park

5595 Grand Drive, St. Louis, MO 63115

A vast park that was the location of the 1904 World's Fair and the 1904 Olympics, explore the beautiful scenery and architecture of this park that is now the home of the city's art museum, zoo, and science center (all free!) Use the interactive map linked below to find information about the Park's free zoo, museums, science center, and (not free) golf courses.

St. Louis Union Station

St. Louis Union Station

1820 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103

Grab a milkshake from the soda fountain, play some mini-golf, see the aquarium, and ride the ferris wheel. There is tons to do in this former train station- and beautiful old architecture to admire.

For all the days along the way
