The Gateway Arch is directly adjacent to the Basilica of St. Louis King of France. It holds a special place in our hearts! We recommend stopping by over the course of the weekend - you can get a ticket to go up to the top of the arch if you like, and there is a fantastic (and free) museum below the arch as well.
The St. Louis Art Museum is free and open to the public! If you share our love for Art Museums, this would be a great stop to make during the weekend!
An incredible work of art and architecture built in 1914, the Cathedral Basilica is certainly among the most beautiful churches in the United States. It features one of the largest mosaic installations in the western hemisphere, boasting 41.5 million glass tesserae pieces in stunning array throughout the cathedral's interior. It's well worth a stop if you enjoy beautiful churches and extraordinary architecture!
St. Louis Union Station is a fun complex in the downtown St. Louis area featuring an aquarium, restaurants, carnival wheel, and other family-friendly attractions.
