Where is the Wedding Ceremony?
Answer
The Wedding Ceremony will either be in Flåm or Aurland. This will be decided closer to the time depending on the number of guests. When this has been confirmed we will update the information.

What if I cant attend?
Answer
No worries! We know that destinations weddings are harder for some people to attend. Our Wedding Ceremony will be live streamed so that people back home don't miss out.

How do I get to Flåm?
Answer
We ask that guests make their own way to Flåm. There are many travel options including hire car, railway (meant to be one of the world's most scenic!) and bus - see details here https://www.vy.no/ We would be more than happy to help give advice on travel arrangements as getting to Flåm can seem complicated!

When can Flights and Hotels be booked?
Answer
The hotel can be booked straight away! Please let us know where you have chosen to stay - see the travel page for hotels that can be booked through our wedding planner (there more people in one room the cheaper it is!). Flights can typically be booked a year before so don't worry that these haven't been released yet! There is also the option of driving to Norway for those that don't fancy flying!

Once you made your way to your hotel, we will ensure that transport is provided for all guests to the Wedding Ceremony and Fjord Dinner locations.

Which Airport is Closest?
Answer
Guests can fly to either Bergen (3 hours from Flåm) or Oslo (5 hours from Flåm). There is also the option of flying to Sogndal Airport as a connecting flight.

Is the Travel and Accommodation Included?
Answer
Unfortunately our budget doesn't stretch to paying for every bodies travel and hotels! However our wedding planner has partnered with a few hotels in the area, which can be secured early.

When is the RSVP Deadline?
Answer
Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can start helping get accommodation options and food sorted. July is a busy month for hotels in Flåm so the sooner you let us know the better!

Is there a Dress Code?
Answer
For our outdoor wedding we recommend smart casual attire. Whilst there is no specific colour theme, we kindly ask you to avoid wearing white or cream! Please also ensure you wear appropriate footwear.

What will the Weather be like?
Answer
Throughout the daytime, temperatures often hover around 17°C. However, as the sun sets and evening approaches, there's a noticeable cool-down. Temperatures gently drop to a more temperate 9°C.

Is there an Open Bar?
Answer
As we have opted for a rustic Fjord dinner we will be required to purchase our own alcoholic drinks ahead of time. Please let us know if there is any preferences and we will do our best to ensure its available!
