we're getting married

Kevin joined a bowling team, and Danaka was the bartender. On the last day of the league, Kevin wrote his number on the receipt and handed it back to Danaka. Danaka wasn't available at the time, so about a year went by, and Kevin didn't return to the bowling alley. His teammate continued to bowl and asked Danaka if she was still in a relationship. Danaka told him they had broken up a little while ago, and he suggested that she should text Kevin. "Will he remember me?" she asked. "Oh, he'll remember you..." he responded. Danaka reached out that night, and they went on a date two weeks later. They made it "official" on a Friday, the 13th, in January of 2017. They dated for about three years and started to take things more seriously in the middle of the pandemic. They spent most of the nine-month quarantine together. They both lost a lot of weight, got healthy, and pushed one another to better themselves during that difficult time. At some point, being trapped in the house with each other for months, they realized they loved the time together and kept each other laughing through it all. Kevin proposed on 4/2/2021 in the Bridle Trails State Park, right behind the bowling center where they met. Bridle Trails is one of the largest state parks in Washington and was their favorite place to take walks. Less than a year later, they bought a house, moved to Tennessee with their pet bunny rabbit Nugs, and started from scratch. Their big move, the pandemic, and a change of jobs, paused their travel adventures the past few years, but they are so excited for their upcoming honeymoon to Mexico! Danaka and Kevin are looking forward to adding a dog to their family when the time is right in the next year or so. They are thrilled to celebrate their love with the people who matter the most to them. Thank you for being an essential part of the next chapter in their story.
