One cold January evening, Trevor found himself at the bar that Danae worked at while he was on Holiday break from Paramedic School. He had gone out with one of his Fire Department friends for some drinks and bar games. When he went to go order a round, he saw what he thought was a familiar face not knowing Danae was having the same thought. After creeping on his card to get his full name, Danae called in the Secret Service (Kori) to do a thorough background check. Once it came back clear, she decided it was safe to proceed and initiate further conversation. Danae would later get off work and encroach on Trevor's evening. What started as an opportunity to flirt, quickly turned into a frustrating situation of competitive nature. Trevor didn't appreciate losing at darts (Danae played darts on Tuesday nights), so we moved our competitive games down the street to the pool tables where Danae's luck changed. With the nights score tied at 1-1, Trevor eyed the foosball table knowing he'd have an upper hand (Saturday night foosball tournaments came in handy). After witnessing a version of foosball that Danae had never seen, she reluctantly had to admit defeat. Before they knew it, last call had come and gone and it was time to start their ventures home. Danae watched Trevor hop in a packed cab and the next thing she knew the rear hatch of the van was opening up. Of course it was Trevor worried he wasn't going to get her phone number, to which she responded, "we're already friends on Facebook!"
