SoCal's Los Angeles (LAX) and Burbank (BUR) and NorCal's San Jose (SJC) Airports have direct flights from all over the country via various airlines. Flying into any of these airports, you'll have a 3-4 hour drive into SLO.

Amtrak

The Pacific Surfliner Train goes up and down the CA coast if you prefer not to fly or drive. Please check availability as schedules vary + allow ample time for this method of travel.
