FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the events?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before the start of each event so you have time to get settled before the ceremony or reception begins.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

For the ceremony, guests are encouraged to wear Indian attire or formal Western attire. Colorful and vibrant outfits are preferred! For the evening cocktail hour and reception, the dress code will be black tie. Men should wear a tuxedo or dark elevated suit. Women should wear a mid to floor-length gown of any color. Please avoid wearing white or white-adjacent colors please! We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

Where can I get Indian clothes if I want to? (You don't have to!)

Answer

For guests who would like to wear Indian attire (lehenga or salwar kameez for women, kurta for men) but do not already own any, Pernia's Pop-Up, Kalki, Aza and Lashkaraa are helpful places to browse affordable wedding guest options. We recommend ordering early to allow time for shipping and any alterations. https://www.perniaspopupshop.com/ https://www.kalkifashion.com/ https://www.azafashions.com/ https://www.lashkaraa.com/

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifically includes your children, we kindly ask that the celebration be adults-only. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes. Parking is available near The Bellevue Hotel, including valet and nearby garage options. We recommend checking current rates and allowing extra time if you plan to drive into Center City.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Is there a break between events?

Answer

Yes. There will be a break between the morning ceremony/lunch and the evening cocktail hour/reception. Guests are welcome to relax, explore Center City, return to their hotel rooms, or enjoy nearby bars and cafés before the evening celebration begins.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to keep phones away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. We’ll have professional photographers capturing the day and are excited to share photos afterward.
