What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

great q. our wedding is cocktail attire, which means: cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and suits. we will be on grass, so please keep that in mind when picking footwear. flats, wedges, and block heels are recommended.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will hopefully be sunny and in the 70s. We recommend bringing a layer, both for the welcome reception where we'll be oceanside and for the wedding reception where we'll be pond-side.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

both the ceremony and the reception will take place at the weekapaug inn. if you are driving or using a ride share service, please manually input the following address: 36 Spray Rock Road, Westerly, Rhode Island. The Weekapaug will be on the right when you arrive. If you input The Weekapaug Inn into your GPS you may find yourself at the back entrance/closed gate.

weather-permitting, both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the wedding ceremony start time (5PM)!

We will have a complimentary valet service at the Weekapaug Inn.

Yes, both are!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

omg, duh. yes. we'll be serving kosher-style fish and veggie-themed plates.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

We will not be providing a shuttle to/from the hotel. We will have complimentary valet parking at the Weekapaug Inn. While app-based ride sharing services are not super prevalent in the area, we recommend arranging transportation on the wedding day with Wright's Taxi, (401) 596-8294. We've notified them that it's our big day, so feel free to set up your ride with them in advance.

Why did you choose the Weekapaug Inn?

Answer

Well, Dana is from Connecticut and Reiss has a strong connection to Massachusetts. Rhode Island is perfectly in the middle and equally inconvenient for all. We plan to continue making awesome compromises like this for the rest of our lives. Plus, the Weekapaug Inn is very cute.
