It really depends on whether or not you like flying Southwest! Both ORD and MDW are easily accessible, but you can pretty much only fly Southwest in and out of MDW. Both airports have train lines that go directly into the city and near hotels (blue line for ORD and orange line for MDW) or 30-40 minutes by taxi or rideshare.
We have room blocks at 2 hotels pretty close to the venue. You can find specific information on the travel tab of this website. If you prefer a different hotel for points or loyalty reasons, most hotels in the West Loop, Loop, or River North area will be easy to get to and from the venue. We recommend booking as early as possible as summer tends to be busy for hotels in Chicago with festivals/concerts.
Due to capacity limitations, we will only be able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation.
Please confirm your RSVP no later than May 15, 2026.
Cocktail attire: knee-length or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits/jackets. For more information or suggestions you can visit https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire The bridal party will be wearing dark teal.
Yes that's correct! Our wedding will be held upstairs and not in the actual concert space. It's possible that a concert will be scheduled the same night, but our event will be separate from that. Please note that in the event there is a concert scheduled, the downstairs bar of the venue will be open to the public. There is a separate bar upstairs for our event.
The wedding will take place on the second floor. There is an elevator available for use.
There are a very limited number of parking spaces available at the venue. If you are planning on driving, please reach out to Dana or Mike by no later than June 1 to confirm availability. If the venue's parking has been claimed, there is paid or metered parking in the area. You can check https://www.spothero.com for nearby availability. The parking lot will be unmonitored after the wedding starts so please be mindful of valuables.
Yes! The Ashland Green Line CTA stop is a very short walk from the venue. You can also take the 9 bus to Ashland and Lake which is approximately the same walk. Uber/Lyft/taxis are also great options to avoid driving and parking in the city.
Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors. The cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting. The outdoor area is a patio space, not grass, so feel free to wear your spikiest stilettos without fear of sinking into the ground.
Please arrive at 4 pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30.
We are serving dinner family style, so all entrees and sides will be available for you to take from. If you have indicated a dietary restriction or allergy on your RSVP, you will receive a separate plated dinner.
They have incredibly busy social calendars and it's hard for them to make a commitment this early.
Yes absolutely! We do ask that guests do not take pictures or videos during the ceremony.
Most likely hot and humid. Chicago does get rain in June sometimes, in which case everything will be indoors.
There will be an open bar as well as several non-alcoholic options. We'd hate for anyone to go thirsty!
Please reach out to Dana or Mike!
